Out and about everyday, I try to notice as many moms as I can. Yes, I appreciate the beauty every woman has, but I'm zeroing in on their outfits and how well they are put together. Or lack thereof. That said, I've created a new aspect to my blog: Cute Mom of the Month. When I see a particularly well put-together mom, not only am I truly impressed, but she deserves to be recognized and commended for her efforts! And I want to inspire the rest of us to strive for fashionable mom cuteness, know what I mean?

Therefore, meet Rachel, here with one of her adorable sons, Oscar. Everything from her hair, down to her brown booties is perfection. She even did her make-up. And the most awe-inspiring part? This was at 8:00 in the morning! She looks amazing right? She's wearing skinny cords, a green tank with a comfy sweater over it. Add the shades and great bag and she's good to go. Simple, easy and stylish any time of day.

It's hard to distinguish the end of summer, in Los Angeles, from the beginning of autumn. There are a few cloudy days and you think, oh summer is over. Then it's 85 degrees again for a week.  Summer not over? The more important question is: what do I wear? I know I'm not ready to wear long sleeves and boots and even long pants yet! Take it slow and gradual like. Wear your denim shorts with a tank top and a lightweight cardigan or jacket. Or wear your fave sundress with little ankle booties and a cropped jean jacket. This way, you're prepared for a summer day AND an autumn day, which can be the very same day. This is also a good time to put your autumn (I like saying autumn better than fall - it sounds prettier) wardrobe in the forefront of your closet and drawers. Helps get you into the mood.
I'm holding out and only wearing flip flops and sandals until my feet get numb from the cold. You know, during our freezing 60 degree winters.

You may be thinking, great, I now know all about Joni and what she's passionate about, but what can she do for me? Since you're asking, here is a run down of my services:

Purging closets and drawers of old, unwanted, or questionable items

But before I do any of these things, I'll first have you fill out a short questionnaire to help me know where you are fashion- and budget-wise. And if you yourself don't know, well, that's why you're calling me!

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I love clothes, shoes, and accessories. My favorite part being
shopping for clothes, shoes, and accessories, as well as making new outfits. I’m usually put together is some way, wearing a cute pair of sweats and Uggs to bring my kids to school, or adding a scarf to jeans and a tank top to run errands.  I do love to hang around the house in my baggy old sweats with a huge sweatshirt, don’t get me wrong. I’ll even venture out to pick up a few things at the market in them. I just think moms should look cute even doing “mom” things.

Not only is the acquisition of fashion a beautiful thing, so is cleaning out closets and drawers of ill fitting, or out of style pieces. I believe that clearing out your closet is like clearing out your head. Leaving room for fresh ideas to blossom and grow. Therefore allowing your wardrobe and style to
blossom and grow. Plus, you’d never find in the back of your closet those gold sequin pants you once
thought were a good idea.

I’ve taken my passion and turned it into a personal shopping service for moms. Why not wear a sundress to take your kids to practice? And switch out the old flip flops for a pair of orange sandals? Yes, they will go with any outfit. Just because you’re a mom doesn’t mean you aren’t a stylish woman anymore. Or maybe you want to change your style? You should and I can help you!
